I just love it when my body sends me loving messages in the way of nutritional thoughts on foods that I could enJOY.
While we have been living in Kauai, which is unquestionably fruit and vegetable heaven, I am limited with the size of my apartment kitchen. My husband Jim loves a big bowl of cooked veggies at night, so I have been joining him, but my body is telling me to include smoothies back into my diet.
By Smoothies I don’t mean the typical fat/nut, banana, date type smoothie, I am so feeling like Kale, Pineapple, Cucumber, Star fruit, Soursop juice, sweet and light, refreshing and packed with nutrients.
It has been some time since I have been including some cooked veggies in my diet, now I am feeling so balanced , my gut feels great, my energy levels are balanced and I am so ready to get back into a smoothie routine.
I am looking forward to experimenting with our local fruits and veg at home in Queensland, I will Blog some recipes as they develop.
